Our Firm

In 1992, Robert Rotenberg and Alvin Shidlowski created a different kind of law firm dedicated to one-on-one service to their clients. Their combined skill set in criminal and business law, enabled them to tackle complex criminal cases and achieve excellent results.

In 2006, Jacob Jesin joined the firm. He shared Robert and Alvin’s commitment to hands-on client service. Together they created Rotenberg Shidlowski Jesin (RSJLAW), a boutique criminal law firm of lawyers practising in association and serving the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario.

No case is too small, or too complex for our team. Much of our work is referred to us from well-respected lawyers, or from former clients. They know that we will work hard with determination and integrity.

We have a full roster of resource professionals who we call on to assist with counselling, private investigation and rehabilitation to support our clients.

Our clients get individual attention. When people need urgent help, we respond right away. From the first phone call to the very end of their case, we are in constant contact with our clients and are with them every step of the way.

We believe that intense preparation is critical to success, and zealous advocacy obtains results. We pride ourselves on our professionalism when dealing with our clients and with other members of the legal profession.

Major media organizations frequently call upon RSJLAW lawyers to comment on cases that are in the headlines. But rest assured, when it comes to our own clients we are extremely discrete. Your privacy and well-being are always our primary concerns.
